On Saturday, July 6th, our team of 16 from Missouri arrived ready to serve. We worshipped with our brothers and sisters at Disciples of Christ Baptist Church on Sunday and enjoyed a fun afternoon in Progreso. The team served at Pilar de Esperanza orphanage and Christian Evolution Church.  At the orphanage we painted the directors house, moved caliche, cleaned, helped with laundry, shared Bible stories, played games and made pillows. On the last day at the orphanage, we grilled hamburgers for the kids and staff. The team spent one day at Christian Evolution Church painting the outside of the church building.  This team rocks at painting!
Thanks for being a blessing to everyone at the orphanage, the church and to Project Fortify.  We look forward to serving with you all again!!
