Our Spring Break team from IBC arrived on Monday, April 3 with very little sleep due to an early flight, but that didn’t hinder their eagerness to start serving! The project for the men was to repair the outside showers at the orphanage. They stuccoed the top part of the walls and then tiled the rest of the walls along with the floor. The girls prepared lunch and dinner for the kids and staff at the orphanage each day. They also shared the Gospel, played games and made crafts with the kids. The kids at the orphanage always look forward to teams coming and spending time with them! Our time with this team is usually just focused at the orphanage, but this year, they also served at the city dump and prepared buckets filled with food for the families that have kids with cancer or disabilities.
Project Fortify serves a meal and shares the gospel at the city dump once a month and also buys food for Iluminando, the ministry for children with cancer and disabilities, once a month. It is always a blessing for us to have teams here to help with these outreaches!
Thanks for spending your Spring Break serving with us!!
