Each summer we look forward to having students spend their summer serving alongside us in the Rio Grande Valley and Reynosa, MX.

Our 2014 summer interns will be arriving today. Three students from Kentucky and Tennessee will be giving up their summers to serve Christ with us. We are excited to introduce these three to you…

Taylor Milan

Taylor is currently studying at Western Kentucky University. She attends our home church, Immanuel Baptist Church, and this is how she became connected with our ministry.

Jessica Joyner

Jessica studies at the University of Memphis. Jessica became connected to Project Fortify last year during a spring break mission trip with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry on her campus.

Justin Meredith

Justin will begin studying at Boyce College in the fall. He, like Taylor, attends our home church and connected with our ministry through there. Justin will be leading worship for our teams and at church this summer.

We are so excited to serve with these three students for the next eight weeks. Our summer plans include team ministry, English classes at Horeb Baptist, serving at the orphanage, dump ministry, and youth ministry here in the Valley. We know God will use our work this summer to bring Him glory and make His name known. Please keep the interns in your prayers as they travel and the whole Project Fortify team as we serve this summer. Thank you!

Yesterday we had a fun-filled Sunday with Horeb Baptist Church in Reynosa. The children decorated Christmas ornaments and the youth went to the movie theater after service. We love being able to serve and partner with this church. Thankful for the blessing of shoes to giveaway at the dump this month! Thanks Bruce and Paula for sharing your donations with us! #projectfortifyreynosa #GivingTuesday is a great way to partner with Project Fortify and share the love of Christ in Reynosa, Mexico and the Rio Grande Valley. Everyone can impact the Kingdom and make a difference.
Give now at Here at Project Fortify we strive to encourage, empower, and equip. As Christians, we are to bring out the treasure hidden in the earthly vessels we teach, train and feed. It takes equipping to ensure they have the necessary tools and knowledge needed to serve God successfully and find their place in the Body of Christ. It takes empowering to release the people into the place of God’s calling. It takes encouraging them that they have what it takes and are “complete in Him” to fulfill their purposes. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬
