The First Baptist Church of Fulton, KY served with us July 25th-30th. It was truly an awesome week. On Saturday, the 26th, we began the day by sharing food, New Testaments, tracts, rice and beans, and hygiene products at the dump in Reynosa. From there, we went to participate in fellowship with Iglesia Bautista Horeb during their time of baptisms. (A blog about the baptisms can be found here). It was a blessed time. On Sunday, Pastor Stephen preached at Horeb and then we began to make preparations for VBS. Some of the team decorated and others went out to invite the community to the Vacation Bible School. The VBS went very well each night. The members of the church really enjoyed it and decided they wanted to continue it on Wednesday night without the team. That last night they had about 80 kids in attendance! It was really awesome that the Fulton group was able to encourage and equip the members to continue on with the Bible School. On Monday before VBS, the team was able to visit the orphanage, meet Sara and some of the kids, and learn about ministry opportunities there. It was overall a great week. The Project Fortify team is so thankful for this team and all of their hard work and love. The members of this team had servant’s hearts and were so encouraging to us as we ended our summer team ministry. Thank you for all you did and for all your love, Fulton!
